Best in Exhibition - Robin Hood BPE National Open Exhibition 2014

The last 4 weeks have been something special in photography for me. Being awarded The MPAGB distinction started it, followed by The L&CPU Photographer of the Year 2014 award, then winning The Great Barr Panels BPE National Exhibition, "Best in Exhibition" award. To round this all off, notification arrived today that I had won "Best in Exhibition" at The Robin Hood National BPE Photography Exhibition with the image "Beating the Keeper"
I've also heard confirmation that I've been awarded AFIAP distinction award, which I'll explain what it is in a separate post.

Best in Exhibition - Beating the Keeper

Beating the Keeper

Beating the Keeper

This picture was taken at Anfield during the 2013 - 2014 campaign when Liverpool Football Club where hosts to Everton Football Club. The game ended 4-0 with the featured player Raheem Sterling taking the ball past stranded Keeper Tim Howard.

Floodlit lighting and rainy weather was a challenge to shoot in, and really pushed my camera equipment to its limit.
